Oasis Association launched our onsite bakery in 2004 thanks to a generous donor, the Carl and Emily Fuchs Foundation, which provided the capital funding and volunteer bakers who put their skill and expertise at our disposal to train our staff and workers.
We use only the best ingredients and ensure that quality control is consistently excellent. Today the bakery provides following freshly baked items (availability varies according to the day’s programme).
The bakery also provides the little coffee corner and tea garden with cold drinks; filter coffee and tea; and sandwiches made to order.
We invest a lot of time and effort in building the skills level of our disabled workers so training takes place on an ongoing basis.
