Recycle with Oasis
Support two causes at once. By dropping off your domestic recyclable waste at an Oasis depot – you will be providing work for people with intellectual disability and protecting the environment through saving landfill. (One ton of paper saves 3 cubic metres of landfill.)

Become a volunteer
Volunteers assist Oasis staff with numerous tasks, such as admin work, fundraising, working in the book shop, general repairs and maintenance, gardening, arts and crafts, educational programmes, management and committee work etc

If you share Oasis’ values, can make a commitment of time and feel that your skills and interest could contribute to one of the centres, please contact the Services Manager, (021) 671 2698.  If you would interested in one of the Board portfolios please contact the Executive Director, (021) 671 2698. 

Volunteers, board and committees members are not remunerated.

MySchool/MyPlanet 
Did you know that you can support Oasis Association when you shop at Woolworths, Waltons, Engen QuickShops etc? All you have to do is swipe your MySchool/MyPlanet card before you ring up your purchase. Please contact the Donor Development department for an application form by either emailing info@oasis.org.za or calling the admin office on 021 671-2698.  The beauty of the MySchool programme is that it won't cost YOU a cent as participating stores pay a small percentage of the cost of your purchase to Oasis Association.

Casual Day
This is an annual national fundraising event benefitting people with disabilities and takes place on the first Friday in September. Stickers are available from Oasis from July onwards.

Feed a hungry person/family at Christmas
Every year we start collecting financial donations and non-perishable from 1 October to ensure that over 260 of the needy workers and day centre children will have a daily meal over the four week Christmas break. Donations can be dropped off at Oasis, 33 Lee Road, Claremont or at the Recycling domestic drop-off facility - entrance on Lansdowne Road, Claremont.
